BTR: Up 52% In 10 Days! Stock Glittering Along With Gold

With all the talk about gold and importance of having it in an investment portfolio, one might get the impression that there is an abundant supply of the metal. Quite the contrary. There is not an unlimited supply of gold and knowing that is a critical part of making the right choices when it comes to investing in and trading gold stocks.

In other words, you don’t want to pay for potential. You want to pay for probability, as in the high probability that a company will be able to make significant gold discoveries that can impact its stock price in a big way. BonTerra Resources (TSX: BTR) may just be that company. Canada-based BonTerra is quickly becoming one the top junior miners to watch as the company is establishing a noteworthy presence in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt of Quebec.

The new year could be a big one for BonTerra as the company expects a technical report will be done on the Eastern Extension and Urban-Barry projects and while it is still too early to determine exactly what mining methods the company will use to extract gold from the properties, it is apparent both projects could be drivers of significant shareholder value in 2011.

Fortunately for investors, BonTerra’s astute management doesn’t allow the company to take some of the risks that other miners take and not taking big risks in the mining business can mean big savings on a company’s bottom line.

Both the Eastern Extension and Urban-Barry projects lie within striking distance of proven gold reserves and BonTerra is well financed to capitalize on this good fortune, but it may be smart investors that are celebrating good fortune in 2011 as BonTerra Resources soars to new heights.
